Invitation for the Pre-Qualification and Tender for Year 2013 Tetfund Intervention in Library Development
1.0 The Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun, Ogun State invites competent/qualified contractors to submit Technical and Financial Bids for the under-listed year 2013 TETFund intervention projects in Library Development.
2.0 Projects to be executed
(a) Procurement of Assorted Textbooks, Reference Sources.
(b) Procurement of e-databases books and journals
(c) Procurement of Library Automation Software and equipment
(d) Virtual Library Development (e-resource equipment, internet facilities, servers etc)
(e) Procurement of Library Furniture (Table, Shelves)
3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Prospective Contractors are required to submit the following documents for pre-qualification:
(a) Evidence of Incorporation of Business Name Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(b) Evidence of Registration with the University for year 2014
(c) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years.
(d) Evidence of Financial Capacity and Banking Support
(e) Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years;
(f) Verifiable evidence of Technical/Key Personnel Qualifications and Experiences.
(g) Refundable Bid Security of 2% of Bid sum in Bank Certified Cheque must accompany Bid documents.
Tender Procedure
Interested tenderers are required to pay the sum of Forty thousand Naira (N40,000.00) only to the University Bursary and collect the Bills of Quantities and other tender documents from the Registrar’s office upon a presentation of the evidence of payment.
Submission Guide
The Technical and Financial documents should be neatly bound and each sealed in a separate envelop marked at the top and labeled Technical or Financial Bid respectively and both packed into a bigger envelop with the contractor’s telephone number at the back. The pre-qualification documents must be sequentially arranged as specified in 3.0 above.

Opening of Technical and Financial Bids
All bids must be delivered to the above address not later than 27th January, 2015. Electronic bidding “shall not” be permitted. Late bids submitted after 12 noon on the last day of collection will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the University Council Chambers at a date to be duly communicated to all bidders. Please note that only bidders with satisfactory Technical Bids will have their Financial Bids considered.
