Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for the Year 2013 Tetfund Special Intervention Projects
(1.0) Introduction
The Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, Ogun State hereby invites qualified as well as competent contractors to submit Technical and Financial bids for the following procurement Projects under the year 2013 Special Intervention.
(2.0) Procurement Projects
(i) Lot 1: Procurement, Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of 300 Nos. Laptops,(COE/IJEBU/TETFUND/SP/13/01)
(ii) Lot 2- Procurement, Installation of 10 Nos. LG Industrial Air-Conditioning System, (COE/IJEBU/TETFUND/SP/13/02)
(iii) Lot 3- Procurement of 300 nos. Industrial Computer Table, (COE/IJEBU/TETFUND/SP/13/03)
(iv) Lot 4- Procurement and Installation of 300 Nos. Operator Series Toll Free SE01 Revolving Chair. (COE/IJEBU/TETFUND/SP/13/04)
(v) Lot 5-Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of 15nos, Equipment for Automobile, Building, Wood Technology, Electrical/Electronics and Technical Drawing Studio. (COE/IJEBU/TETFUND/SP/13/05)
(3.0) Pre-Qualification Criteria
(i) Evidence of Company registration by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
(iii) VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances.
(iv) Verifiable evidence of certification by PENCOM and enrolment of Company employees on pension scheme in compliance with the Pension Reform Act.
(v) Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years.
(vi) Letter of financial reference from a reputable bank.
(vii) Verifiable list of technical and Professional staff. Enclose photocopies of Credentials.
(viii) Verifiable list of executed similar jobs with letters of award and certificates of practical completion.
(ix) Equipment and Technology capability must be demonstrated.
(4.0) Collection of Tender Documents
(i) Interested bidders should pay a non-refundable fee of Twenty-five thousand Naira (#25,000.00) only with bank draft drawn from any reputable bank payable to Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, Ogun State.
(ii) Present the draft and obtain a receipt as well as Tender documents at the Bursary department of the College.
(5.0) Submission Guide
Bound Technical and Financial bids in separate envelopes clearly marked “Technical” and “Financial”, the 2 envelopes will in turn be sealed in a bigger envelope clearly marked “Prequalification and Tender fee (specify the Lot Number)” at the top left-hand corner of the envelope and should be hand-delivered to:

Not later than 12 Noon on 24th February, 2015.
(6.0) Opening of Pre-Qualification Bids
The bids documents are scheduled to be opened publicly by 12.30pm on the 24th February, 2015. Interested members of the public especially the intending Contractors/Suppliers are hereby invited to the public Opening.
Please Note:
(i) The College reserves the right to verify all pre-qualification documents submitted.
(ii) That participation in the bid does not guarantee any parson the right to be selected or given any job.
(iii) That this advertisement for invitation to prequalification shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the College, nor shall entitle any Contractor/Supplier to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from Tai Solarin College of Education.
(iv) Tai Solarin College of Education reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the College.
(v) That only bidders with satisfactory Technical Bids will have their Financial Bids considered.
(vi) Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
