(1) This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in the Development Gateway Market Web Site and appeared in Development Business on November, 26th 2010.
(2) The Kaduna State Government has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Furnishing and Equipping Staff Development Centre (SDC) Theatre and Classes Contract No. IFB/KDSPSGRDP/NCB/GOODS/01/14.
(3) Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Furnishing and supply of Training Equipment for the SDC.

(4) Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines, “October 2006”.
(5) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Coordinator Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project Office, kdcbp2@yahoo.com and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below, from 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
(6) Qualifications requirements include:
(a) Financial Capability
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following financial requirement(s):
(i) External Audit Report of the Bidder for the last three (3) years
(ii) Banker’s Declaration that the Bidder has the Financial Capacity or a line of credit to execute a Contract of the same magnitude (as contained in the Schedule of Requirement) for supply of goods.
(b) Experience and Technical Capacity
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s):
(i) Previous experience in Furnishing and Equipping a Training Institution
(C) The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that the Goods it offers meet the following usage requirement:
(i) Suitable for use in Training Institution
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.
(7) A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of NG. N15,000.00 or US $120.00. The method of payment will be by Cash or Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be collected by hand or sent by Courier services on request.
(8) Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd February, 2015 at 10:00 am. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on 3r February, 2015 at 10:15am. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of amount not less than 2% of the Bid Price.
