Expression of Interest at Evidence for Action (E4a) Programme
Exciting Opportunity for an Agency to Host the Evidence for Action (E4a) Programme in Ondo or Bauchi State
Evident for Action (E4a) is a Five Year Programme (2011-20160) Founded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID to improve material and newborn survival through a combined focus on evidence, advocacy and accountability across six sub-saharan African Countries. Host Agency
E4C works through local institutions that host E4A Country Team. E4A Nigeria has host agencies in Abuja and Kano and we are looking for additional host agencies operating in Bauchi or Ondo to support the expansion of the programme over next two years.
The successful host agencies will be a civil society organization, academic institution or registered company working in development consultancy and management, additionally, they will have expertise in evidence, advocacy and/or accountability efforts, a sound understanding of maternal and newborn health issues in-country and extensive networks and partnerships with stakeholders from within government and civil society. The host agency will also have suitable office space available to house an E4A Team of 3 people and organisational capacity to participate on the E4A project.
