Request for Expression of Interest for the Appointment of External Auditors
In compliance with the provisions of Section 85(3) (a) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 and the relevant guidelines from the Office of the Auditor-General of the federation, the Management of Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Limited/GTE requires the services of a firm of External Auditors.
The prospective appointee must show:
- Evidence of the firm’s registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of registration with the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation 2013 and or 2014
- The Firm’s profile, such as professional qualification of the key staff, past experience on similar jobs successfully handled, etc
- Evidence of financial capability (Bank reference)
- Evidence of VAT registration and valid tax clearance certificates for the last three years: and
- Evidence of compliance and remittances of Pensions and Industrial Training Fund.
Submissions must be in English language and dropped in the Tender Box provided at the address below:

- Envelopes containing Expression of Interest must be marked “External Auditor” on the top right hand corner.
- All Expression of Interest must be submitted on or before 12.00pm on the 8th of August, 2014.
- All submissions will be opened immediately on the same day at the ground floor Conference Room.
- NELMCO reserves the right to reject any or all of the Expression of interest.
- Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted and invited to complete the Request for Proposal (RFP) form.
