(1) The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for providing Hydrographic/Bathymetry Surveys and Geomorphological Study of River Benue Between Dasin Hausa and Lokoja, and Bathymetry Survey of Kiri Dam Reservoir and identification number NEWMAP/FPMU/NCON/ICB/01/15.
Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credit.
(2) The Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) of the Federal Ministry Environment invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for carrying out Hydrographic/ Bathymetry Surveys and Geomorphological Study of River Benue between Dasin Hausa and Lokoja, and Bathymetry Survey of Kiri Dam Reservoir.
(3) Bidding documents may be purchased at The Federal Project Coordinator, Federal Project Management Unit, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), No. 170, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, Nigeria for a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira only (N10,000.00), or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency, for each set. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
(4) Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2.5% of the bid price in local currency or its equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to the address below on or before 12noon, 11th June, 2015, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
