Invitation to Tender for the Printing of the Central Bank of Nigeria Cashless Policy Communication Booklets
Introduction:
This is to Inform the General Public that the Central Bank of Nigeria Advertisement in Respect of the “Tender for the Printing of the Central Bank of Nigeria Cashless Policy Communication Booklets” has been reviewed as follows:
(i) The Tender Process has been Cancelled
(ii) A new Tender Process has Commenced and the notice is as stated below:
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) hereby invites reputable printing outfits with proven experience and expertise in handling flagship publications to tender for the printing of the Cashless Policy Communication booklets. The booklets which will contain Frequently Asked Questions will be printed in English and Three (3) major Indigenous Nigeria Languages namely, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work involves the printing of a large number of full colour processed booklets, with a page extent of between 32-48 pages in English and three (3) major Indigenous Nigerian Languages as follows:

The sample of the booklet is available for inspection in the Office of the Secretary, Major Contracts Tenders Committee, Procurement & Support Services Department. The printed booklets should meet the following specifications:

General Requirements:
Interested and competent vendors must -submit the following documents for verification:
(a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due
(c) Comprehensive company profile including registered office, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s) and facisimile number(s)
(d) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past
(e) Reference letter from a Bank stating the financial ability of the Printer to carry out such project(s)
(f) Current company’s audited statement of accounts.
(g) Certificate of compliance issued by the National Pension Commission as evidence of employer’s obligation to employees with respect to Pensions
(h) Evidence of remittance of Training Contribution to the Industrial Training Funds (ITF).
(i) Financial Bid document should state the following

Submission:
The submission shall be in two separate envelopes;
(a) The general requirements and Technical Proposal should be submitted in a wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner:-
“Prequalification and Technical Proposal for the Printing of the Cashless Policy Communication Booklets”
(b) The Financial Proposal should be submitted in a second, wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner: – “Financial Proposal for The Printing of the Cashless Policy Communication Booklets”

Closing date:
All submission must be received at the above Office not later than 12:00 Noon on 4th December, 2014.
Opening date:
The prequalification and Technical Proposal will be opened immediately, after dose of submission of the bid on 4th December, 2014.
Important Notice
(A) Nothing in the advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of the CBN
(B) The successful company(ies) will be notified formally.
