Invitation to Tender
Public Notice
The institute is embarking on the under listed projects for the 2014 fiscal year.
Interested contractors are by this notice invited to tender for any of the jobs listed below.
Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes:
a) Purchase of a Jeep with air-conditioned, auto transmission, Petrol engine,
Airbag, 2.7 hr, power minors, wide tyres, CD player with AM/FM radio);
b) Consultancy for the training of young graduates on Hospitality and Catering Management in Orumba, Anambra State.
3.0 Technical Requirements:
(i) Evidence of Incorporation/registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Evidence of Tax clearance certificate for the last three consecutive years covering, 2011, 2012 & 2013 corresponding with declared annual turnover.
(iii) VAT registration and evidence of past remittances.
(iv) Evidence of compliance with ITF Amendment Act 2011.
(v) Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2011.
(vi) Company’s Audited Accounts for the last 3 years.
(vii) Evidence of similar verifiable projects executed within the last 3 years with detailed description of the works, contract sum and completion Certificates.
(viii) Comprehensive Company profile and evidence of technical qualification of key personnel and their CVs.
(ix) Bank Statement for the past twelve (12)Months.
(x) Letter of Attestation of good financial standing of the Company from a reputable commercial Bank.
(xi) Evidence of registration of firm in BPP contractors’ database will be an added advantage.
4.0 Collection of Tender Documents:
Interested companies should collect bid documents from the office of the Procurement Unit at the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Office (third Block from the road) at No. 6 Mike Akhigbe Way, Jabi Abuja, upon the presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N5,000.00 to the Institute.
5.0 Submission of Tender Documents
Completed Tender Documents should be submitted in two (2) separately sealed envelopes labeled ‘Technical” and “Financial” both put in a bigger envelop clearly marked with the relevant Project Title and addressed to:

National Institute for Hospitality & Tourism,
No. 6 Mike Akhigbe Way,
Jabi-Abuja.
PMB 543 Garki, Abuja.
The closing date for submission of bids is 22 August, 2014 by 12 noon.
6.0 Opening of Bids
Opening of bid is by 1.00 pm, 22 August 2014, immediately after the deadline for submission at the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Board room in the presence of contractors or their representatives.
