Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Suppliers for Public-Private Partnership Protect
Introduction:
The Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano is desirous of having reputable suppliers/contractors to pre-qualify for Public Private Partnership project
In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Hospital wishes to invite interested and reputable suppliers/contractors with relevant experience and good track record to pre-qualify for the supply of the below listed equipment under Public Private Partnership Programme

Requirements:
Prospective suppliers/contractors are required to submit the following documents:
i. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) (mandatory).
ii. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2009, 2010, & 2011) mandatory.
iii. Evidence of VAT Registration with TIN No. and past remittance for the last 3 years (mandatory).
iv Company Audited Accounts for the last three years (2010, 2011 & 2012) showing annual turnover.
v. Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed including letters of award of contracts, projects cost, job completion certificates and payments (please provide contact address of the clients).
vi. Evidence of financial capability to execute the projects (Bank Guarantees from reputable banks specifically addressed to CMD AKTH, Kano.
vii. Company profile and Technical qualification of key personnel with photocopies of credentials; and
viii. A sworn Affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any court of Law of any criminal offence.
ix. Evidence of Registration with AKTH, (if any).
x. Evidence of Registration with PENCOM and remittance of contributions.
Expression of Interest
Companies that intend to bid are required to pay a non -refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00)only at the Cash Office of the Hospital and obtain an official receipt. A photocopy of the receipt is to be attached to the pre-qualified documents. Companies that fail to comply will be disqualified for consideration.
Submission of Pre-Qualification:
One copy of the pre-qualified documents must be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked “Pre-qualification Bid for P.P.P” for consideration and addressed to:

Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital,
P.M.B. 3452, Kano.
The sealed envelope should be deposited in the Tender Box at the Office of the Chief Medical Director, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital not later than 12.00 noon from 3rd October, to14th November; 2013. Late submission of bids will not be accepted.
N/B: Bidders are required to obtain acknowledgement slip from the PRS Division of the Hospital before depositing their bids in the Tender Box.
Opening:
Opening of the received Bids will commence at 1.30pm on 14th November; 2013 at the Catering Hall, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano. All bidders and/or their Representatives, Relevant Professional bodies and NGOs are invited to witness the Public Opening exercise.
Please note that:
i. All CAC, VAT, PENCOM and Tax Clearance Certificate may be referred to the Security Agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification
ii. The Hospital Management reserves the right to reject any or all the submission that does not comply with the requirements specified.
iii. The Evaluation of the received documents shall be strictly based on the requirements as specified above.
iv. Only Companies that have been successfully screened and found competent will be requested to submit their Financial Bid(s).
