Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Invitation to Tender
Introduction:
The Federal Government of Nigeria has provided funds in the 2014 Capital Appropriation to National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre, Enugu, Enugu State and the Centre intends to apply part of the funds to make payments under the Contracts for construction and provision of the following:
(i) Completion of Microbiology Laboratory at National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre, Enugu
(ii) Training of National, Zonal (12,2/zones) and state level core-trainers (74) on the field, laboratory and entomology techniques for health workers.
(iii) Identification of some local phytopesticides (from moringa and neem plants) and their applications in control of vectors.
(iv) Quarterly surveillance yellow fever vectors in the yellow fever endemic areas of Benue, Delta, Cross River, Enugu, Uyo, Oyo, Imo and River States.
(v) Establishing contacts in the 24 breeding habitats, ecology and distribution of dengue virus vectors- Aedes albopictus in Nigeria
(vi) Provision of internet facilities at National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre, Enugu.
(b) The Centre now invites Tenders from eligible Tenderers for the under fisted projects.

(c) Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the National Coordinator, National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre, 33 Park Avenue, GRA, Enugu, Enugu State.
(d) Tendering documents may be obtained from the above address on or 11.00am Friday 27th of June, 2014 late Tender Documents will be rejected. Document will be opened in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in person at 12.00 Noon on 30th June, 2014, Opening venue shall be:
