Invitation for Pre-Qualification
Preamble
The general public is hereby informed that the Federal Polytechnic Bali, Taraba State has received its 2012/2013 (Merged) TETFund Intervention Funds for Library Development.
In line with the foregoing, reputable, interested and qualified contractors are invited to apply for Pre-qualification for the under listed projects.
(A) YEAR 2012/2013 (MERGED) LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION FUND

(B) Pre-Qualification Requirements
Bidders are required to submit the following:
(i) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(ii) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.
(iii) Tax clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(iv) Evidence of competent Technical and Administrative staff with academic/professional qualifications and years of experience of key personnel available for the project.
(v) Bank reference from a reputable Bank.
(vi) Evidence of relevant verifiable experience on similar works in Nigeria over the last three years stating, cost and duration of execution.
(vii) Evidence of VAT remittance.
(viii) Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) requirements.
(ix) Evidence of compliance with the provision of the Public Procurement Act 2007 as related to Pensions.
(x) Evidence of Registration as Contractor with Federal Polytechnic, Bali.
Submission of Documents
Pre-qualification documents shall be forwarded to the address below. The envelopes containing the Pre-qualification documents should be clearly marked on top “Pre-qualification for the Procurement of…”

The Pre-qualification documents should be submitted not later than 12:00noon on the 26th January, 2015. The pre-qualification documents will be opened in the presence of the prospective contractors at 2:00pm on the 26th of January, 2015, at the Conference Room of the Academic Staff Offices Building (TETFund) at the Permanent Site, Federal Polytechnic Bali. Attendance at the opening event is important. Successfully prequalified contractors shall be invited to tender at a later date.
Participation in the Pre-qualification and Tender exercise is not a guarantee for consideration for the Tender process. Bidders are required to note that only pre-qualified companies will be invited to tender.
