Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for TETFUND 2013 Special Intervention Procurements
Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola (formerly, Federal University of Technology, Yola) wishes to invite interested Companies/Contractors to tender for the under listed procurements for the University.
LOT I: Procurement and Installation of foldable theatre tables and chairs (foreign) for Chemistry Department MOADUNI/YOLA/TETF/SP/2013/01
LOT II: Procurement and Installation of laboratory cabinets and stools,classroom chairs (lecture theatre type; all foreign) for Chemistry Department.
MOADUNI/YOLA/TETF/SP/2013/02 and 03
LOT III: Procurement and installation of desktop computers, tables, Chairs, printers, Ipad and photocopiers for Chemistry Department and other Departments
MOADUNI/YOLA/TETF/SP/2013/04 and 06
LOT IV: Procurement and Installation of foldable lecture theatre tables and chairs, desktop computers, tables, chairs (foreign) and UPS for the Department of Science Education.

Pre-qualification documents to be submitted should contain, among others things, the following:-
I) Certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria as a Limited Liability Company.
II) Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years issued by Federal Board of Internal Revenue.
III) Evidence of Registration as Engineering/Equipment contractor with the Federal Ministry of Works.
IV) Evidence of Registration with Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola in Category G.
V) List of similar projects executed in the last three years.
VI) Evidence of financial capability to execute the job to be tendered for
VII) List of key personnel to be assigned to the project with professional qualifications
VIII) Evidence of compliance with section 16 (6) (d) of the public Procurement Act. 2007 and section (1) – (3) of Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Act 2011.
IX) Evidence of VAT Registration.
Non-Refundable Pre-Qualification And Tender Documents
Interested Companies/ Contractors are expected to pay to the Bursary Department, the sum of N20.000.00 for each of the four lots named above as a non-refundable tender fee.
Collection of Tender Documents
Tender documents containing details of works can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Physical Planning Unit, Room J1, Central Administration Building, on presentation of evidence of payment of the prescribed tender and Pre-qualification fees.
Submission of Pre-Qualification and Tender Documents
All Pre-qualification and tender documents shall be placed and sealed in SEPARATE ENVELOPES and clearly marked “Pre-qualification to tender for” “Procurement and installation of foldable theatre tables and chairs (Foreign) for the Department of Chemistry” or as the case may be. The two documents shall then be placed in a single outer envelope for submission. The envelope containing the pre-qualification and tender documents shall be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, New senate Building of the University not later than 12:00noon on Friday March, 7th 2014. Late submission shall not be accepted.
Pre-qualification documents shall be screened to determine those qualified to tender before opening of Bids. Only those qualified shall have their Bids opened. Those not qualified shall have their Bids returned unopened.
Opening of Tenders
All qualified tender shall be publicly opened on Friday March, 7th 2014 by l:00pm in the Council Chamber of the University. All Tenderers are invited to attend or send their representatives.
