Tetfund Intervention in Library Development Projects
1.0 Introduction
The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi wishes to notify the General Public of its intention to utilize its 2009-2012 merged TETFUND intervention for Library Development Projects.
2.0 Scope of Work
Interested, Eligible, competent and reputable Agents/Suppliers with relevant experience, requisite expertise and good track records for timely delivery of projects /supplies are hereby invited to submit Prequalification and Bid Documents for the desired lot(s) listed below:
Lot -1 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology
Lot – 2 Procurement of Assorted books for College of Medical Sciences
Lot – 3 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Management Technology
Lot-4 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Engineering & Engineering Technology
Lot -5 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Environmental & Environmental Technology
Lot 6 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Technology Education
Lot 7 Procurement of Assorted books for Faculty of Sciences
Lot 8 Procurement and Installation of Electronic- Library facilities, equipment and furnishing.
3.0 Requirements
(i) Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)/ Certificate of Incorporation
(ii) Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last three ( 3) years consecutively 2012, 2013and 2014 Company’s VAT Clearance Certificate
(iii) Evidence of Pension Compliance from the National Pension Commission
(iv) Evidence of ITF Act Compliance from the Industrial Training Fund
(v) Company’s Profile reflecting Executive Capacity, Plant and Equipment and Personnel
(vi) Evidence of Financial Capability to handle the job
(vii) Evidence of Previous Experience in Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training
(viii) For Lot 8, Evidence of performance of similar verifiable and successfully executed projects in the last three (3) years 2011, 2012, 2013, stating clients, location, letter of award cost with completion certificates and photocopies.
(ix) Qualified contractor for Lot 8 shall be invited for technical presentations, demonstration and interaction.
4.0 Submission of Documents
The Completed Pre-qualification and Bid Documents should be sealed and marked “Confidential” at the left hand corner of an envelope to reach the address indicated below. Name, Telephone Number and Mailing Address of the Tenderer shall be clearly stated on the reverse side of the envelope(s). This shall be addressed to:

5.0 Closing Date of Submission
Closing Date of submission of Pre-qualification Documents shall be on 28th November, 2014, while the Bid Document Closing/Opening shall be 26th December, 2014 by 12.00 Noon Prompt.
NOTE:
Only pre-qualified contractor/suppliers shall be invited to Tender upon payment of Tender fees as follows:
- Lots: 1 – 7 – N15,000.00 per/Lot
- Lot: 8 N20,000.00
This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the University’s Management, nor shall it entitle responding Tenderers to seek any indemnity from the University by virtue of such Tenderers having responded to this advertisement.
