General Procurement Notice (GPN)

The Federal Ministry of Communication Technology intends to undertake the procurement of various projects under the 2014 Appropriation. In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Ministry wishes to put on alert all interested competent and reputable Contractors/Service providers for consideration for the execution of the Following Projects:

1. Computerization of Accounting Operation.
2. Software Installation and Networking of the Accounts.
3. Baseline Survey and intervention.
4. Establishment and Furnishing of Training Room.
5. Equipping the National Frequency management Council (NFMC)
6. Human Capital Development for staff of the Ministry.
7. Procurement of Office Stationeries /Computer Consumables.
8. Procurement of Books.
9. Maintenances of Office/IT Equipment.
10. Procurement of Security/Information Equipment.
11. Financial Consulting.
12. Information Technology Consulting.
13. Rehabilitation/Repair of Fixed Assets.
14. Computer Software Acquisition.
15. Rehabilitation/Repairs of Office Buildings.
16. Extension of Government Services Portal
17. Rehabilitation of Wuse II Annex Office.
18. Deployment of ICT Tools for ICT Professional Cadre.
19. Printing of Security and non Security Documents
20. Fumigation/Cleaning services
21. Maintenance of Office Furniture
22. Maintenance of Plants/ Generators

The Procurements will be subjected to due process mechanism and open to all eligible bidders. Subsequently, within the year, Specific Procurement Notices for these Procurements will be placed on the Notice Boards and Websites of the Ministry and its Parastatals/Agencies, National Dailies and Federal Tenders Journal accordingly depending on their threshold as soon as the relevant solicitation/bidding documents are finalized.

Interested eligible bidders, who wish to participate in the bidding process, are advised to be on the lookout for subsequent Advertisements.

Please note that all documents on Responsive Criteria such as Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Value Added Tax (VAT), Pension Commission and Tax Certificates may be referred to Security Agencies and other relevant bodies for

Verification

The Ministry also reserves the right to invoke the Provisions of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 without incurring any liability to the bidders.
