General Procurement Notice for 2014 Capital and Recurrent Projects
Introduction:
The Nigerian Shippers’ Council intends to undertake the procurement of various projects under the 2014 Capital and Recurrent Budgets. It in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, wishes to put on alert all interested and reputable Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants/Service Providers with relevant experience for consideration for execution of the under listed projects.
Description:
1. Procurement of Computer Hardware, Software, e-facility, Accessories, Peripherals and Consumables.
2. Procurement of Maritime books and equipment.
3. Procurement of Stationery Items.
4. Procurement of Office Furniture and Fittings.
5. Procurement of Project/Enforcement/Utility Vehicles.
6. Procurement of Vehicle Consumables,
7. Procurement of Office Equipment such as Photocopy Machine, Air conditioners, etc
8. Procurement of Toiletries and Cleaning Materials.
9. Procurement of Copier Consumables.
10. Printing of Security and Non-Security Documents
11. Maintenance of IT Equipment
12. Maintenance of Motor Vehicle.
13. Maintenance of Office Equipment and Furniture.
14. Development of Council’s landed property, Abuja.
15. Development of Office Buildings (landscaping, sinking of boreholes etc) Kano and Warri.
16. Acquisition of Medical Equipment.
17. Development of Council’s property, Jos
18. Consultancy services: Outline Business Case and Transaction Advisory services on Truck Transit Park, Lokoja
19. Procurement of Security Equipment.
20. Consultancy services: Shippers Complaints and Enterprise Facility Management System.
21. Procurement of Generating Sets.
22. Major Maintenance on NSC Buildings.
23. Research Studies.
Note:
The Procurement will be subjected to Due Process mechanism and open to all eligible bidders. In this Procurement Year, specific procurement notices for these procurements will be placed on the Notice Board of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, dailies and Federal Tenders Journal depending on their threshold as soon as their relevant solicitation /bidding documents are finalized.
Interested eligible bidders, especially those who wish to participate in the bidding process are advised to lookout for the subsequent advertisements.
Please also note that all the documents on responsive criteria such as Corporate Commission (CAC), Value Added Tax (VAT), Pension Commission (PENCOM) and Tax Certificate may be referred to the Security agents, CAC, Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification. The Council also reserves the right to invoke the provision of section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 without incurring any liability to the bidder.
