Expression of Interest (EOI) for Engagement of Consultants
Introduction:
The Electricity Management Services Limited (EMSL) is desirous to engage the services of consultants to carry out some specialized training programmes for the organization.
2. Summary of Scope
Lot 1: Restructuring and Repositioning of EMSL Business Units
Lot 2: Service Delivery: Work Ethics and Culture Change
Lot 3: Capacity Gap and Training Need assessment
3. Requirements:
Interested Consultants are required to submit the following documents:
- Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
- Current tax clearance certificate for the immediate past three years (i.e. 2011 – 2013);
- Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance;
- Company audited accounts for the last 3 years (2011 -2013);
- Evidence of compliance (registration and remittance) with the provision of PENCOM Act 2004;
- Evidence of compliance (registration and remittance) with the provision of Industrial Training Fund;
- Evidence of financial capability and banking support;
- Verifiable evidence of previous consultancy experience undertaken in the last five (5) years including scope of work and value;
- Detail of staff strength including the curriculum vitae and profile of key personnel; and
- Evidence of membership of professional Training Association
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Procurement to 2007, and the Procurement Procedure Manual published by the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) in January 2008.
4 Submission
The submission is to consist of one Original and two (2) duplicate copies in a sealed envelope marked “EOI FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF ACONSULTANT” (specify Lot) and addressed to:

The Expressions of Interest should be submitted not later than 12:00 noon on Monday 24th March, 2014 at the above address. The Expressions of Interest would be opened same day immediately after the closing time at the same address.
Note:
- This advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of the company, nor shall it entail any bidder to make claim(s) whatsoever and seek indemnity from the Company by virtue of that bidder having responded to this advertisement.
- Prequalified consultants will be requested to pay N20, 000.00 processing fee before the collection of Request for Proposal (RFP).
