Invitation to Tender for the Construction of a 7 Storey Office Block.
- Bids are hereby invited from interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience and good track records in respect of the Construction of a 7 Storey Office Block in Lagos for the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD Nigeria).
- Bidding Criteria
Submission of:
(a.) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b.) Company profile and organizational structure, including names and resume of key personnel with addresses and phone numbers.
(c.) Veritable list of previous/similar major works carried out within the last 3 (three) years with their locations and clients. (Copies of completion Certificate/Final Payment Certificate should be attached).
(d.) Evidence of Incorporation and Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(e.) VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances.
(f.) Audited Annual Financial report of the Company for the last three (3) years.
(g.) Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness/bank reference and readiness to instruct bankers to supply financial information on the company as may be required.
(h.) Evidence of community and social responsibility (if any)
(i.) Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Pension Reform Act, 2004
(j.) List of equipment to be used for the project and their location (state whether the equipment are leased, hired or owned)
(k.) Submission of a bonafide commercial bid.
- Collection of Tender Documents
The tender documents are to be collected from the office of the Director General, IoD Nigeria, 53 Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos as from 12.00 noon on Friday, 8th May, 2015 upon payment of a non-refundable tender processing fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N100,000.00) for the project,
- Submission of Documents
Duly completed tender documents/bids in a wax-sealed envelope marked “Construction of a 7 Storey Office Block for IoD Nigeria” at the top left hand corner should be hand delivered not later than 12.00 noon on Thrsday, 28th May, 2015 to the address below:

- Opening of Tender Documents
All submitted tender/bid envelopes will be opened at IoD Nigeria Office by 12.00 noon on Thursday May 28th, 2015 and representative of companies that submitted bids are hereby invited to witness the opening.
Please note that;
(i.) IoD Nigeria is neither committed nor obliged to shortlist any Contractor or to award the contract to any Contractor or Agent.
(ii.) IoD Nigeria reserves the right to reject any and/or all bidding packages.
(iii.) IoD Nigeria will only recognize and correspond with only authorized officers of the tendering companies and NOT through individuals or agents acting on their behalf.
(iv.) This advertisement for invitation shall neither be construed as a commitment on the part of IoD Nigeria nor shall it entitle any Contractor to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from IoD Nigeria.
