Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors/Suppliers for Supply of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) to Nigerian Ports Authority, Headquarters and Other Port Locations (National Shopping List)
1.0. Introduction
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) hereby invites interested and competent contractors/suppliers with relevant experience to apply for pre-qualification (National Shopping List) for supply of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) to Nigerian Ports Authority’s at the under listed locations for a period of two (2) years’

2.0. Scope of Work
The scope of work involves Supply of AGO to Lagos and other Ports locations for electric power generating set and other Port facilities requiring same.
3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested companies should submit three (3) HARD copies (one original and two copies) and a SOFT copy of the bound bid documents duly signed, paginated, separated by dividers and arranged in the order outlined hereunder:
Mandatory Requirements
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of Company TAX Clearance Certificate for the last (3) years (2011. 2012 & 2013)
iii. Current Pension Clearance Certificate from (PENCOM). (Where Applicable)
iv. Evidence of Compliance Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. 19 of 2011. (Where Applicable)
Other Requirements
v. Evidence of company’s ability to undertake petroleum products supplies. Evidence of similar and other petroleum product supplies should be attached i.e letters of awards, completion certificates etc.
vi. Company profile to include names, qualifications, experience of key personnel
vii. All relevant information concerning physical addresses, Telephone, fax, e-mail of the Company and its Representative.
viii. Bids must be in English Language, in clear Hard & Soft Copies and signed by an official authorized by the bidder.
4.0. Submission of Tender Documents
The prequalification document for each LOT is to be submitted in One (1) soft and three (3) hard copies paginated and arranged with dividers as indicated above. The tender documents for the LOT desired must be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the ‘THE SECRETARY TO THE TENDER BOARD, NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY” and clearly marked “INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE (TITLE I DESCRIPTION AS APPROPRIATE TO SPECIFIC PROJECT BEING ADVERTISED)” Specifying PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 3904 and the LOT NO. desired and drop in the designated Tender Box located on the 4th Floor of the Ancillary Building of Nigerian Ports Authority Headquarters at 26/28, Manna Lagos not later than 11.00am on 19lh May, 2015. All received bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at the Conference room. 1 Joseph Street, off Marina, Lagos in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please, ensure that you sign the bid submission register in the office of the General Manager. Procurement as the Authority will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids.
