General Procurement Notice for 2015 Capital and Recurrent Projects
(1) Introduction:
The Federal Ministry of Health intends to undertake the procurement of various projects under the 2015 Capital and Recurrent Budget.
(2) In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Ministry wishes to notify all interested and reputable bidders with relevant experience for consideration for the execution of the following projects:

2. | Procurement of Medical Equipment and Consumables |
3. | Procurement of long lasting insecticide nets (LLINs) and IRS Insecticide. |
4. | Procurement of Laboratory Reagents, Chemicals, and Test Kits. |
5. | Procurement of Drugs and Essential Medicines. |
6. | Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Office Buildings in various locations. |
7. | Equipping and Furnishing of various Office Buildings at different locations. |
8. | Construction/Upgrading of Health Centers in various University Teaching Hospitals, Building of VVF Centers in various locations and Hostels in tertiary Hospitals Nation Wide. |
9. | Clearing of medical consignments. |
10. | Capacity Building and Components for Training/Programmes. |
(3) The Procurements will be subjected to Due Process mechanism and open to all interested eligible bidders who wish to participate. Subsequently within the year kindly be on the lookout for SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE for these Projects to be further defined by 2015 budget and budgetary releases. Specific Projects will be published in the National Dailies, Federal Tenders Journal and the Notice Board of the Ministry and its Parastatals/Agencies.
(4) Please note that all documents on Responsive Criteria such as Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Value Added Tax (VAT), Pension Commission (PENCOM) and Tax Certificates may be referred to the Security Agencies, CAC, Federal Inland Revenue 5ervice (FIRS), National Pension Commission (NPC) and other relevant bodies for verification.
(5) The Ministry also reserves the right to invoke the provisions of Sections 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 without incurring any liability to the bidder.
