Request for Proposal for the Provision of Services

The African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) is an International Financial Institution owned by 41 member States of the African Union (AU) and the African Development Bank (AfDB). Other shareholders comprise one hundred and seven (107) insurance/reinsurance companies and four development finance institutions namely, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), FMO (Netherlands) and PROPARCO (France) as well as IRB-Brasil Re, a Brazilian reinsurance company. Africa Re is headquartered in Lagos, Federal Republic of Nigeria, with regional offices in Casablanca (Morocco), Lagos (Nigeria), Nairobi (Kenya), Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire), Ebene (Mauritius) and Cairo (Egypt). The corporation also has a contact office in Addis Ababa and two subsidiaries in Johannesburg (Africa Re South Africa) and in Cairo (Africa Retakaful).

The Corporation is desirous of recruiting first class service providers for the provision of the following services at the Corporation’s Headquarters building situated at Plot 1679, Karimu Kotun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

(1)     Property Management Services

(2)     Security Services

(3)     Cleaning Services

For guidance, all proposals should include but not limited to the following:

(1)     Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs commission and other relevant authorities

(2)     Technical qualification of key personnel to be deployed to the premises

(3)     List of clientele including contact details of their key personnel

(4)     Evidence of insurance cover and medical retainership if available for operatives and staff

(5)     3 years audited account.

(6)     Evidence of compliance with Human Resource (HR) laws viz.   Employee Compensation Act, Tax Act, Pension Act etc.

Interested bidders may wish to visit the premises for inspection between 10.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday 27th November to 11^th December 2014.
