General Procurement Notice for 2014 Capital Projects
The Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) is a statutory body established by the Federal Government of Nigeria through Act 12 of 1995 (CAP LI3, LFN 2004). Its major thrust is to regulate the practice of the Library and Information Science profession in Nigeria.
The Council wishes to notify the General Public of its intention to procure Goods and Services in the 2014 Fiscal Year. These are to be funded through Year 2014 Federal Government Capital Budget Appropriation.
Interested reputable and qualified Manufacturers, Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants are hereby invited to submit pre-qualification documents for items listed below:

| 6 | Prison Library Outreach (To Take Library to a Disadvantaged Group for Transformation and Reformation) in Kuje, Abuja. FCT |
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested competent firms who wish to participate should submit their firm’s profile, which must include but not be limited to the following documents:
- Certificate of Registration /Incorporation with C.A.C.
- Detailed Company profile with list of staff, qualifications and years of experience
- Tax Clearance and VAT certificate for 3years (2011-2013).
- Evidence of financial capability, banking support (statement of accounts for the last 6 months)
- Evidence of having undertaken similar projects/consultancy assignments carried out within the last 3years, (photocopies of letters of award should be enclosed as evidence).
- Evidence of registration with a pension administrator and evidence of remittance.
- Evidence of compliance with the Industrial training Fund Act of 2011 (where applicable)
Submission of Documents:
- All contractors and suppliers expected to submit relevant qualifying documents in a sealed envelope marked “GPN 2014”.
- Closing date is 28th July, 201 at 12:00noon, 3rd Floor (Office of Chief Admin Officer) Administration Department, Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), Maitama, Abuja.
- Pre-qualification documents should be submitted (one hard copy and electronic copy of CD-MS-Word) in a sealed envelope and addressed to:
