INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS TO TENDER FOR MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS [MDGS] 2013 CONDITIONAL GRANT SCHEME TO STATE

The Taraba State Government is fully committed to the improvement of service delivery towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by the target year 2015, hence the collaboration between Taraba State Government and Federal Government to execute special projects under 2013 CGS in Health, Water & Sanitation and Agriculture.

NATURE OF THE PROGRAMMES PROJECTS INVOLVED

1.      HEALTH

1. Constriction of Primary Health Centres and Library
2. Procurement of assorted Hospital Equipment furniture and Books
3. Procurement of special drugs

 2.     WATER & SANITATION

1. Construction of Solar Powered boreholes
2. Spring Water Development
3. Small Town Water Scheme and
4. Rehabilitation of Water Scheme

3.   AGRICULTURE

1. Procurement of assorted farm inputs and Rice processing mills
2. Minor Irrigation scheme

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

a)      Evidence of incorporation or business name registration.

b)      Evidence of registration as Contactor with Taraba State Government.

c)      Evidence of Tax clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years

d)     Company Audited Account for the past three (3) years .

e)      Company Profile detailing years of experience and projects executed in the areas of interest.

f)       Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support

g)      Proof of joint ventures/alliances/partnerships (if applicable).

h)      Valued Added Tax (VAT Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances.)

SUBMISSION

Pre-qualification documents can be submitted within 2 weeks from 6th January, 2014 (before 20th January,2014) to the address below:

1. Please this is not an invitation to tender. Pre-qualified companies (Limited Liability and Enterprises) will be communicated;
2. This advertisement should not be confused as a commitment on the part of Taraba State MDGs Office nor shall it entitle companies to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the MDGs Office or the State Government;
3. The State MDGs -CGS Committee reserves the right to verify any claim(s);
4. Full bidding procedure shall only be applied to contractors that have been pre-qualified and found capable of executing the projects(s), and
5. All submissions are to be done on or before 20th January, 2014
