Disposal of Unserviced Able Vehicles
1.0 Introduction:
National Orientation Agency Headquarters, intends to dispose some of its unserviceable vehicles in compliance with the Public Procurement Act, 2007. Interested buyers are hereby invited to participate.

2.0 Description of Motor Vehicles for Disposal:
(a) 1 Kiasorento (Jeep) – State Headquarters Office, Benin City, Edo State.
(b) 37 Peugeot 360 (Saloon Cars) 2 at National Headquarters Abuja, l each in State Headquarters Offices nationwide except Lagos and Gombe
(c) 1 Mazda Bus-River State Headquarters, Port Harcourt.
(d) 1 Toyota Coaster Bus (35 sealer) National Headquarters Office, Abuja.
(e) 1 Mercedes Benz Bus (18 seater) National Headquarters Office, Abuja.
(f) 6 Peugeot 504 (Saloon Cars)- 5 at National Headquarters Office, Abuja and 1 at Borno State Headquarters Office, Maiduguri.
3.0 Conditions for Bidding:
3.1 Four (4) weeks is given for the inspection of the items within working hours at the respective office premises.
3.2 The winner shall be the highest bidder over and above the Agency’s reserved prices.
In a situation where no bidder meets the reserved price, the three (3) highest bidders will be invited to re-bid for the item.
3.3 Payment shall be made as follows:-
a. 10% of the bid price shall be submitted with the tenders as Bid Security in Bankdraft payable to National Orientation Agency on or before the closing date of submission. Please note that each Lot shall have its own Bid Security separately, hence the Bankdraft should be submitted separately.
b. Balance of 90% of the bid price shall be paid within two (2) weeks of the acceptance of the offer by the Agency. Failure of the winner to complete full payment within two (2) weeks of acceptance of offer by the Agency will result in the forfeiture of its 10% Bid Security and position as the winner. The next highest bidder with offers above the Agency’s reserved prices will be considered.
3.4 The Bankdraft of the next two highest bidders (being the reserved winners) shall not be returned until the bidding process is completed and full payment is made by the winner.
3.5 Winners shall take possession of the items and move same out of the premises of the Agency within 24 hours after full payment.
3.6 If the reserved price is not met for a particular lot, the lot will go for a further round of bids.
3.7 The items shall be bid for “as is” without testing.
4.0 Bid Format
4.1 Interested bidders should prepare their bid in the format available at the Agency’s website listed above, and National Orientation Agency Headquarters and State Directorate Offices Notice Boards.
5.0 Submission and Opening of Bids
5.1 Completed bid shall be submitted in sealed envelope and labeled “Item Name” at the top right hand corner, addressed as below and dropped in the appropriate Tender Box on or before 12:00 noon, Tuesday 26th November, 2013.

5.2 The closing date for the submission for bid is on or before 12:00 noon, Tuesday 26th November, 2013.
5.3 Bids will be opened immediately after closing on Tuesday, 26th November, 2013 in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to witness the opening.
