Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender and Full Tenders for the 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention Projects
Further to an earlier advertisement on the above subject matter published in the Peoples Daily and Blueprint of Thursday, 22nd August, 2013 and in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Olabisi Onabanjo University is hereby inviting Interested and reputable contractors with relevant experiences to bid in the pre-tender qualification and financial bidding exercise for its TETFUND Year 2013 Special Intervention Project as follows:
1: Project: Construction and Furnishing of Faculty of Science Building
a. Interested contractors are invited to submit the following pre-qualification documents:
b. Evidence of Registration/Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission
c. Company Profile and organization structure
d. Tax Payer Identification Number
e. Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years
f. Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate and evidence of remittance
g. Evidence of compliance with the Pension reform Act 2004
h. Audited Accounts for the past three (3) years
i. Company letterhead Indicating:
(ii) Bankers address
(iii) Account number, and
(iv) Sort Code
j. Letter of financial capability form Company’s bankers
k. Evidence of Payment of Contribution to Industrial Training Fund (ITF) for Staff Training
I. Evidence of Registration with Olabisi Onabanjo University as a contractor
m. Last Bank Statement of Account of the company
n. Evidence of Performance on similar projects with dates and contract award letters
o. List of Plants/Equipment, which we reserve the right to inspect and confirm
p. Any additional information that may enhance the chance of the contractor/supplier
3: Collection of Bid Documents:
Detailed specifications and un-priced bill of quantities are obtainable in the office of the Acting Director, Directorate of Works, Services and Physical Planning, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye upon payment of non-refundable processing fee of twenty thousand naira (N20, 000.00) through the Point of Sates (POS) at the Bursary Department of the University between 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. daily.
4: Submission of Pre-Qualification/ Tender Documents
The bidding documents (both technical and financial bids) are to be submitted at the same time but in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked Pre-Qualification Document Or Financial Bid For Construction And Furnishing Of Faculty Of Science Building at the top left comer and addressed to the Office of The Acting Registrar, Olablsi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State. The name, address of the company and telephone number of the company should also be clearly written on the reverse side of the envelope and should be submitted to the office of the deputy Registrar, Council Affairs, Olabisi Onabanjo University. Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye not later than 12.00 noon on Monday, 25th November, 2013.
5. Opening of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents:
The Pre-qualification/Tender documents shall be publicly opened at the Senate Chamber, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye on Monday, 25th November, 2013 at 1.00pm. “The University reserves the right to reject any bid that it deems not responsive and shall not enter into any correspondence with any Contractor/Company.
1. Failure to submit the documents mentioned above disqualifies a Contractor/Bidder.
2. The University reserves the right to verify all claims and documents submitted by Bidders for Pre-qualification.
3. Should any Contractor/Bidder have any doubt about items on the Pre- qualification/tender advert, such doubts should be referred to the Deputy Registrar, Council Affairs, Oiabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.
