Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Supply Vehicles
Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund as part of its ongoing programmes of intervention, under the overarching objective of poverty alleviations, in the area of improvement of semi-urban and rural transportation system by providing all terrain mass transportation vehicles, is requesting for quotations (RFQ) from qualified offerers to supply “18 seater” buses and “5 passenger seat sedan” cars (between 1.8 and 2.0 cc engine capacity) vehicles and related accessories/spare parts. The Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund intends to purchase “18 seater” buses and “5 passenger seat sedan” cars (between 1.8 and 2.0 cc engine capacity) vehicles with specifications as indicated hereunder. The indicated specifications are the minimum specifications for the needs of Kebbi
State Sure Trust Fund in safety, quality, performance and standardization.
The specification is not intended to be proprietary in any way. The use of trade names in these specifications are to set a quality standard for comparison only but do not intend to exclude any manufacturers of vehicles and related ancillary equipment of this type and quality.
Interested firms/suppliers/manufacturers/manufacturers’ representatives may submit quotations in response to this advertisement on or before the 1st of November, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. local time for supply of vehicle to:

The response shall indicate, at a minimum, that the firms/suppliers/ manufacturers /manufacturers’ representatives is in a position to supply, deliver, provide training (where appropriate) and commission vehicles sufficient to reasonably meet the safety and operational needs of Kebbi State Sure Trust fund for all terrain roads. These items include:
“18 seater” buses and “5 passenger seat sedan” cars (between 1.8 and 2.0 cc engine capacity) to be supplied with particulars of vehicle as follows:
(1) Name of Vehicle: “18 seater” buses and “5 passenger seat sedan” cars
(2) Model: As per manufacturer specification
(3) Chassis Number: As per Model
(4) Engine Number: As per Model
(5) Engine Type: As per Model
(6) Steering System: Power
(7) Country of Origin: Japan
(8) Country Assembled: Japan
(9) Year of Manufacturing: 2013 & Above
(10) Colour: White/Silver/Black
(11) AVC (Dual)
(12) Cylinder Displacement: 1800CC or higher for both bus and car
(13) Fuel Type: Petrol
(14) Type of transmission: 5 speed manual or automatic (for cars)
(15) Warranty: Minimum 1 (one) Year
(16) After sales service: 6 Months
(17) Delivery Time: 1 (one) Month from Purchase Order
(18) Validity of the Offer: 1(one)
(19) No. of the Vehicles: Number of Units to be indicated upon
acceptance of quotation
(20) Any additional specifications indicated and agreed between the Supplier and the Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund.
Any quotation submitted by a proposer to Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund will be accepted or rejected within a period of 30 days from due date.
Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund reserve the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any quotation, to negotiate for the modification of any quotation(s), to accept the quotation(s) that in Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund’s sole judgment is/are deemed the most desirable and advantageous to Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund, to reject any and all quotations, or to re-advertise for quotations, to such extent as Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund, in its sole discretion and opinion, deems necessary or desirable.
Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund is not liable for any cost associated with the preparation of the quotation or any other costs incurred by any proposer prior to the execution of an agreement. The rejection of any quotation, in whole or in part, by Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund, will not render Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund liable for incurring any cost or damage.
All material submitted in response to this Request for Quotation property of the Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund choose to retain, return (at the proposer’s expense) or dispose of these materials.
Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the proposer to deliver the vehicles, and the proposer shall furnish to Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund all such information and data for this purpose as Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund may request.
In selecting the firms/manufacturer/manufacturer’s representative for the award of contract, consideration, will be given to:
(a) The experience of the proposer.
(b) The proposer’s financial condition.
(c) Regular and constant payment of VAT, taxes and other fees payable to Municipal, Local Government Council, State or Federal Government.
(d) The proposer’s conduct and performance on previous agreements.
(e) The proposer’s facilities.
(f) The proposer’s management skills; and
(g) The ability of the proposer to execute the agreement properly and deliver within time.
Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such proposer fails to satisfy Kebbi State Sure Trust Fund that such proposer is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the agreement and to complete the supply contemplated herein.
