Invitation to Tender for Rehabilitation of a Classroom Block and a new Toilet Block, Rehabilitation of a Workshop Building and Supply of Equipment/Materials to three (3) skills Acquisition Centres
2. Oyo State Board for Technical and Vocational Education (BOTAVED), Ibadan invites reputable contractors to tender for:
(i) Rehabilitation of a Classroom Block and a New Toilet Block.
(ii) Rehabilitation of a Workshop Building
(iii) Supply of Equipment and Materials to Skills Acquisition Centre at Oranyan, Ibadan, in Oyo South Senatorial District.
(iv) Supply of Equipment and Materials to Vocational Skills Acquisition Centre at Saki in Oyo North Senatorial District
(v) Supply of Equipment and Materials to Vocational Skills Acquisition Centre at Oyo in Oyo Central Senatorial District
3. Bid Requirements:
Interested contractors are to submit the following documents:
(i) Evidence of Registration with Bureau of Public Procurement, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.
(ii) Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(iii) Tax Clearance Certificate of at least 2 Directors covering the last 3 years.
(iv) Evidence of current Registration of Business Premises with Oyo State Government.
(v) Evidence of similar projects successfully executed in the past.
(vi) Contractors who are able to provide contract finance with proof and cognate experience will be given preference.
4. Tender Fee
Bidding documents can be picked up at the Planning, Research and Statistics Department of BOTAVED upon payment of tender fees into Oyo State Government Account No: 7100003341 at Mainstreet Bank, Dugbe, Ibadan as detailed below:

Tender documents are available for sale at the Planning, Research and Statistics Department of BOTAVED, Quarter 857, Bola Babalakin Crescent, Agodi, Ibadan from Wednesday 27th November to Tuesday 10th, December 2013.
5. Submission of Bid Documents:
All applications must be submitted in triplicate, sealed envelopes and clearly marked
“OYO/BOTAVED/VOC/B1D/2013 and addressed to:
The Permanent Secretary,
Cabinet and Special Services Department,
Office of the Executive Governor,
Secretariat, Ibadan.
6. Please note that:
(i) The Board reserves the right to verify the bidders’ claims.
(ii) Further clarifications can be obtained from the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, BOTAVED, Quarter 857, Bola Babalakin Crescent, Ikolaba GRA, Ibadan.
(iii) Late submission of bid documents will not be entertained and Government is not bound to accent the lowest bidder.
(iv) All bids will be opened at the Cabinet and Special Services Department, Office of the Executive Governor, Secretarial, Ibadan on Wednesday, 11th December 2013 at 2.00pm prompt. Bidders should please punctually attend the bid opening exercise or send representative.
