Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Consultants for Training and Workshop in Ekiti State
The Ekiti State Government in Partnership with the United Nations Development Programme is in the Process of Carrying out the Following; “3 Days Workshop on Capacity Strengthening on Using SPSS and Excel for Data Analysis and Management in the Ekiti State Bureau of Statistics” and “2 Days Commodity Enhancement Support for Women Farmer’s Groups in Maize, Yam, Cocoyam And Vegetable in Ekiti State”. The Government of Ekiti State recognizes the Proficiency in Electronic data analysis and its mode of reducing data analysis cost, time and increase in the output accuracy. The State Government understands the timely and accurate data and information forms the essential foundation for making policy on planning, implementing and evaluating all development programs. Hence, the importance of the capacity building of staff at Ekiti State Bureau of Statistics and other relevant ministry, department and agency, Likewise, the State Government realized that women empowerment and gender equality is vital to sustainable development and economic reliance and peace building. Embarking on policies and programme that strengthen women’s assets are likely to have long term effects because they increase their ability to adopt improved technologies or engage in more remunerate livelihood strategies and contribute to women’s empowerment in the household and community.
Therefore, the Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery therefore wishes to invite interested and qualified Consultants to submit relevant organization documents for prequalification. The Terms of reference showing the details about the workshop and training is obtainable from the multilaterals Department, Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery, Ado Ekiti.
Application Requirements
Interested and qualified consulting/training firms are required to forward their applications containing the following:
a) A technical proposal for the interested training showing a clear understanding of the objectives of the assignment, the scope and deliverables. The proposal shall also include the course content and training plan as well as the profile of the resource persons.
b) A financial proposal that reflects the cost of conducting the interested training or workshop.
c) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
d) Evidence of executing similar jobs in the arid zone of Nigeria, with the certificate of completion.
e) Evidence of Ekiti State Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three financial years
f) Evidence of payment of Ekiti State Development levy for the last three financial years
g) Evidence of registration of Business premises in Ekiti State
h) Reference letter from a reputable bank.
i) Evidence of registration with Bureau of Public Procurement in Ekiti State
Submission of Tender:
The Terms of Reference showing the concept, guidelines and the expected outcome about the different workshop and training must be obtained from the Multilateral Department, Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning and Service Delivery, Ado Ekiti before applying for any of the workshop or training. Hereafter, two copies of completed tender documents of interested training or workshop must be submitted not later than 26th August 2014 in a different sealed envelopes and marked at the top right hand corner the title of workshop or training of interest” and the “Proposed Financial Total Budget for the Interested Workshop or Training” should be attached as a separate document inside the sealed envelope to:
