Pre-Qualify and Tender for Tetfund Library Intervention.
The College of Education Igueben invites competent and reputable Contractors who may wish to “Pre-qualify and tender” for TETFUND Library intervention.
Procurement of Assorted Library Books, Journals and Shelves.
Pre-Qualification Documents:
Interested contractors are required to submit their company’s profile which must include but not limited to the following documents:
(i) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(iii) Value Added Tax/Evidence of Tax Remittance.
(iv) Bank Reference Letter/Bank Support showing evidence of financial capability to execute the project.
(v) List of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by the company with locations, letters of award and completion certificates within the past (5) years.
(vi) List of plants and machineries owned or hired by the company. The location and identification mark of the plant/equipment should be well specified and verifiable at short notice. False information will be penalized.
(vii) Evidence of compliance with ITF and PENCOM requirements.
(viii) Please state clearly your Company’s full address, GSM Phone number and e-mail address for ease of communication.
Submission Procedure:
All pre-qualification and financial bid documents must be in separate sealed envelopes. The top-right hand corner of the envelopes shall be marked Pre-Qualification for (Project Name) and Financial Bid For (project Name) respectively and should be hand-delivered on or before 15th July, 2014 before 12noon on that date. Pre-qualification /financial documents will be opened on the same day in the College Chamber by 12.00 noon in the presence of all representatives of the companies who choose to attend.
All documents should be addressed to The Provost, College of Education, Igueben, and dropped in the tender box in the Provost’s Office.
Collection of Bid Documents:
All intending bidders should collect financial bid documents from the Office of the Director of Works upon payment of non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only) for each project in the Bursary Department.
Please Note:
1) The participation in the bid does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or given any job.
2) That by the submission of Pre-qualification documents, the College is neither committed nor obliged to award the lowest bidder any contract as the final approval is to be given by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETF) the sponsors of the project.
3) That this advertisement for invitation to Pre-qualification/bid shall not be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of the College, nor shall entitle any Contractor/Firm to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the College.
4) The College reserves the right to reject any or all expression of interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the college.
5) Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
