Invitation to Pre-Qualification and Tender for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Merged Tetfund Intervention in Library Development
The Lagos State University, Ojo, is about to utilize the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 TETFUND intervention Fund for Library Development. The University wishes to invite reputable and seasoned firms with proven track record and expertise in supply of Library Books, Equipment and Furniture, to express interest in the procurement of items indicated below to be funded by TETFUND.
LOT1: Procurement of Desktop Computer Units
LOT2: Procurement of Textbooks in Sciences, Engineering and Medicine
LOT3: Procurement of Textbooks in Communication, Arts and Education
LOT4: Procurement of Textbooks in Law, Management Sciences, Social Sciences and Transportation Studies
LOT5: Procurement of FRED FRANKLIN Library Shelves, Chairs, Tables and Equipment.
(B) Tender Procedure
(1) The Suppliers/Contractors are required to prepare and submit their tenders in two separate parts, namely:
(i) Technical Tender/ Bid (Pre-qualification)
(ii) Commercial/ Financial Tender/Bid
(2) Bids should be prepared and submitted in accordance with the aforementioned Tender Documents. In the event of a Contract Award, the bidder will be required to enter into formal contract agreement in the form and based on the proposed contract documents.
(C) Pre-Qualification Requirements
(Compulsory and Mandatory Requirements)
(i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Company Audited Account for the Last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013) duly stamped.
(iii) Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013).
(iv) Evidence of Value Added Tax (VAT) registration.
(v) Evidence of payment of the non-refundable pre-qualification fees at the LASU Cash Office or Bank Certified Cheque.
(Please note that failure to provide any of 1a (i-v) above will automatically disqualify the bidder)
(D) Other Requirements
(i) Indication of Technical and Administrative Staff strength, with academic/professional qualifications and years of experience of key personnel available for the project.
(ii) Bank reference from reputable Bank.
(iii) Verifiable evidence of similar works successfully executed or being executed in Nigeria over the last five (5) years stating; type, cost with evidence of award and completion certificate.
(iv) Detailed company profile giving names and list of key professional, technical and administrative staff with their curriculum vitae and verifiable evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies.
(E) Purchases and Collection of Tender Documents
Bid documents shall be made available to interested companies on presentation of evidence of payment of Tender Fee of (100,000.00 into LASU UBA Revenue Account (1010295541) and the receipt issue by the Lagos State University Bursary in respect of the Tender from Monday, May 4, 2015 till Friday, May 15, 2015.
