Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the Implementation of Years 2012-2014 (Merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund Intervention in Library Development
Introduction
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund has granted Approval-In-Principle to Kwara State University, Malete for the implementation of Years 2012- 2014 (Merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund intervention in Library Development.
2.0 The Projects
Interested and competent contractors with requisite experience in the handling of similar projects are therefore invited to submit pre-qualification documents for the following projects:-
LOT-1 Procurement of Assorted Textbooks in Humanities, Management and Social Sciences
LOT-2 Procurement of Assorted Textbooks in Pure and Applied Sciences
LOT-3 Procurement of Assorted Textbooks in Engineering and Technology
LOT-4 Procurement of Various Text books in Mass Communication, Computer Science Library and Information Science and Education
LOT-5 Procurement of Various Textbooks Agriculture and Reference Books
LOT-6 Supply of Various DVDS and E-Books
3.0. Requirements and Arrangement of Pre-Qualification Documents
The required pre-qualification documents should be arranged in the following order;
(i) Evidence of Incorporation of the Company/ Business Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(ii) Articles and Memorandum of Association
(iii) Registration with Relevant State/Federal Bodies
(iv) Evidence of Compliance with the Provisions of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 in Respect of contribution to the Fund where applicable
(v) Evidence of Certificate/Exemption from PENCOM in compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004
(vi) Company’s Audited Account for the Last Three Years
(vii) 3 Years Tax Clearance Certificate (i.e 2012, 2013, 2014)
(viii) Evidence of payment of Education Tax
(ix) Evidence of Financial Capacity and Banking support
(x) Evidence of Partnerships with Overseas Booksellers/Book Publishing Companies
(xi) Evidence of previous similar Projects Undertaken (Attach Letter of Awards and Certificates of Completion)
(xii) Evidence of Current Contractor’s Registration with KWASU
(xiii) Annual Turnover of the Company
(xiv) Satisfactory History with KWASU (if any)
(xv) Full Details of Company Profile showing list of Staff, Curriculum Vitae, Registration with Professional Bodies and Certificates
4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
All Pre-Qualification Documents are to be packaged in Wax-Sealed envelopes marked “YEARS 2012 – 2014 (MERGED) TERTIARY EDUCATION TRUST FUND INTERVENTION IN LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT” and submitted to:

5.0 Please Note That
(i) A non-refundable processing fee of N30, 000 for each lot must be paid to the University
(ii) This advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Kwara State University, Malete to award any form of contract to your company.
(iii) This advertisement is not an Invitation to Tender. Full tendering informations and instructions shall be sent only to the Companies that are found pre-qualified and screened.
(iv) The University will not go into correspondence on account of unsuccessful applications.
