Request for Expression of Interest: Provision of Customer and Asset Enumeration Services

1. Description of Enugu Electricity Distribution Plc (EEDC)

EEDC is one of the successor companies of the former Power Holding Company of Nigeria, licensed to distribute electricity in the Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.

B.      Description of Requirements

1.       EEDC hereby invites competent service providers to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of Customer and Asset Enumeration Services for its license area.

2.       The services will include Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping of every building and energy asset in the area, as well as, creation of a geospatial map and database. The services should also be conducted with handheld devices with customized software to capture all required data.

C.     Additional Information

1.       Service Providers interested in providing the above services are invited to submit their EOI, along with the following documents:

a.       Company Profile with relevant details (i.e. address, contact person, telephone, e-mail, personnel, relevant experience, financial statements)

b.       Certificate of Incorporation.

c.       Summary of relevant enumeration experience, tools, equipment, licenses etc. to be utilized

2.       Please note that this is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The purpose of this Request for EOI is to identify companies that would receive our RFP, when it is issued.

3.       EOIs may be submitted in an envelope clearly marked ‘Expression of Interest – Provision of Customer and Asset Enumeration Services’ and sent to

Attention: Procurement Department to be received no later than 4.00pm on Wednesday, 16^th July, 2014.

4.       EOIs that do not address the above requirements to the satisfaction of EEDC shall not be considered for the RFP. EEDC reserves the right to select invitees for the RFP at its sole discretion.
