Project/Consultancy Title: Economics of Peace and Conflict Study National Research Consultants

Project Location(s): Abuja, Nigeria

Consultant Objectives:

The consultants on this project will lead the research implementation and data collection stage of this economic study on the costs of conflict and benefits of peace. The consultants will direct the initial stages of field research and data collection. The period of this consultancy is approximately thirty (30) days (subject to change in consultation with Mercy Corps), working in communities in the Middle Belt states of Nasarawa, Benue, Plateau, and Kaduna.

Consultant Activities:

The Consultant will:

1)    Organize enumerators for field research and direct field research

2)    Collect data from surveys and focus group discussions

3)    Analyze data from the field and write report
