Invitation to Pre-Qualification of Vendors
The Population Council is an international, non-profit, non-governmental institution that seeks to improve the well-being and reproductive health of current and future generations around the world and help achieve a humane, equitable and sustainable balance between people and resources. The Council’s major program areas are HIV & AIDS, Reproductive Health and Poverty, Gender, and Youth. The Council conducts biomedical, social science and public health research and helps build research capacities in developing countries. The Population Council works in collaboration with a broad range of Nigerian institutions. We hereby invite interested and competent companies to apply for pre-qualification for provision of supplies and services in one or more of the following categories:
Lot 1: Clinical/Laboratory Services equipment: All ranges of measuring, observing and testing equipment for CD4, Haematology, Microscopic, etc.
Lot 2: Medical/Laboratory consumables: All ranges of laboratory accessories, test kits & consumables; examination gloves, reagents, etc.
Lot 3: IT Equipment/I. T Solutions: Computers (desktop/Laptop), Printers, Scanners, Internet service provider, website maintenance,
Lot 4; Delivery Services: Travels/ticketing, Courier, Car hire, Hotel lodging & catering, etc.
Lot5: Repairs & Maintenance Services: Motor Vehicles maintenance (Toyota, KIA & FORD), Generators, Air conditioners, electrical circuit maintenance etc.
Lot 6: Furniture and Fittings: All ranges of furniture and electronics.
Lot7: Printing and Publications: Digital imaging, Editorial Design & Graphics/Layout, colour processing etc.
Lot 8: Janitorial Services; Office cleaning, fumigation, pest control, etc.
Lot 9: Stationeries/Office consumables: Printing papers, tonners, etc.
Lot 10: Office Utilities: Diesel supply, etc.
Lot 11: Others: Products or Services not mentioned
Mandatory Requirement for Prequalification
(i.) Minimum of 3 years’ business incorporation as evidenced by provision of business registration documents and proof of tax registration & remittance.
(ii.) Sound financial capital base as evidenced by bank reference.
(iii.) Satisfactory past performance in provision of indicated products/services as evidenced by provision of minimum of three satisfactory trade references.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested companies should submit copies of the following documents:
(i.) Company profile, including verifiable address, active phone numbers & email addresses
(ii.) Evidence of incorporation/registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(iii.) Evidence of tax remittance to relevant tax authorities and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
(iv.) Evidence of bank account in the name of the company/business entity. Submission of Expression of Interest
Pre-qualification documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Expression of Interest: Prequalification” indicating Lot # to;
