REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL QUANTITY SURVEYORS,EXTERNAL SOLICITORS AND AUCTIONEER
The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) wishes to procure the services of the following professionals
1. External Solicitors
2. External Quantity Surveyors
3. Auctioneers
The proposed procurements are borne out of the need to consolidate the Hospital’s legal framework and capacity, and, to ensure cost effectiveness, accountability and transparency in the utilization of public funds through the preparation of realistic in-house cost estimates for projects executed by the Hospital’s Management. To this end, the Hospital hereby solicits Expression of Interest (Eol) from suitably qualified firms of External Solicitors (preferably with cognate experience in health-related issues), Quantity Surveyors (with at least five years’ experience in the construction industry) and Auctioneers to tender for the relevant services to the Hospital.
Requirements
Interested firms should submit expression of Interest to contain the following information to be supported with documentary evidence:
i. Detailed profile of the firm
ii. Certificate of Incorporation
iii. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificates of the principal partners for the last three years
iv. Evidence of compliance with ITF provisions and remittances
v. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM provisions and remittance (where applicable)
vi. Evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies
vii. Practicing license of the principal partner
viii. Evidence of past performances
ix. Sworn Affidavit indicating that all document submitted are genuine and verifiable
Submission of Application
a. Bid documents are obtainable from the of the Assistant Director (Procurement) after payment of a non-refundable Fee of N30,000.00 (Thirty thousand naira) made payable to Skye Bank Plc Account No. 1770413127.
b. Interested firms should submit 10 copies of their applications in sealed envelope NOT LATER THAN SIX (6) WEEKS from the date of the publication of this advert (before 17th February, 2014) to:
