Invitation to Local Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Manufacture of Amoxicillin Dispersible Tablets
To support national and global efforts to increase access to and the afford-ability of products for child pneumonia, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), together with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP)-Promoting the Quality of Medicines (PQM) program invite pharmaceutical manufacturers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for inspection of their manufacturing sites to assess compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) for production of amoxicillin dispersible tablets 250 mg or 500 mg (scored) for child pneumonia.
If the assessment demonstrates; that a product and its corresponding manufacturing site meet quality assurance standards as per accepted international standards, the product as well as the manufacturer will be included in the list of products that are considered to be acceptable for procurement by Nigeria Ministry of Health and other procurement agencies. - Cover letter with full contact information expressing interest in receiving technical assistance for the manufacture of the selected pharmaceutical product.
- A list of amoxicillin dispersible tablet products currently being produced or plan on producing.
