Invitation to Bid For the Supply and Installation of Information Technology (IT) Work Tools in the Nirsal Office, Abuja
Introduction
Nigeria Incentive -Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) is an Agric-based initiative which provides its clients with Risk Management Financing, Trading and Strategic Solutions. The Central Bank of Nigeria (referred to as The Bank) is currently NIRSAL’s primary shareholder. The Bank hereby invites the general public to bid for the supply and installation of Information Technology (IT) work tools at the new NIRSAL office located in Maitama, Abuja
Scope of Work
The Scope of work includes supply and installation of:
- Laptop and Desktop machines for the use of staff.
- Servers to run core-operational applications and serve as a storage repository for critical files of NIRSAL.
- UPS/Inverters to protect all electrical applications.
- Printers and Scanners to facilitate smooth administration and clerical functions.
- Communication equipments which include phone line network point accessories, internet connectivity and wired/wireless network devices.
General Requirement
Interested persons wishing to bid for the Tender must note or provide the following:
a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
b) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due.
c) Comprehensive company profile including registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone numbers), facsimile numbers).
d) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in an organization similar in size and complexity to the CBN (evidence of verifiable certificate of completion should be provided
e) Reference letter from a Bank stating financial ability to carry out such project (s)
f) Current Company’s audited statement of accounts
g) Certificate of compliance issued by the National Pension Commission as evidence of employer’s obligation to employees with respect to pensions
h) Evidence of payment of training contributions to industrial Training Fund (ITF).

Interested persons should submit their bids in two Separate sealed envelopes namely:
- The documents listed under the General requirements and the Technical proposal should be submitted in a wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner: Prequalification and Technical Proposal for the Supply Of IT Working Tools At The Nirsal Office at 21 Danube Street, Maitama Abuja
- The Financial proposal should be submitted in a second wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner: Financial Proposal For The Supply Of IT Working Tools At The Nirsal Office At 21 Danube Street, Maitama Abuja And addressed to:

Closing Date
All submissions must be received at the above Office on or before 12.noon on 4th September, 2014
Opening Date
The Prequalification and Technical proposal will be opened immediately on 4th September, 2014 at the 2nd Floor Wing D, Procurement Support Services Department, Central Bank of Nigeria, Abuja.
Important Notice
a) Nothing in the advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of the CBN.
b) Successful Bidders will be notified formally.
