Invitation for Tender

The News Agency of Nigeria, a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Information, Intends to undertake the procurement of projects approved under the 2014 appropriation and hereby invites Interested, competent, and reputable contractors with relevant experience for the execution of the following projects:

Scope of Work:

The comprehensive details of work for the respective projects shall be provided in the bidding documents to be issued to the Bidders.

Tender Requirements:

All prospective bidders are required to submit the following verifiable documents:

1. Certificate of Incorporation / registration with CAC.
2. Evidence of certification or exemption from the National Pension Commission in accordance with the PENCOM Act, 2004 including evidence of remittances of employees’ pension contribution.
3. Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act, 2011.
4. Evidence of compliance with the Employees’ Compensation Act which requires that all Employers of labour must remit 1% of total annual emolument of their workers to the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
5. Tax Clearance Certificate for 2011, 2012, and 2013 with TIN numbers at FIRS.
6. Company audited account for 2011, 2012 and 2013.
7. Evidence of VAT registration and remittances.
8.  Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed in Nigeria in the past 3 years including letters of award, completion certificates and payments, (please provide the names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of clients for verification).
9. Evidence of financial capacity to execute the job.
10. Company profile and Technical / Professional qualification of key personnel.
11. A sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any Court of Law of any criminal offence; and
12.  A sworn affidavit that all information submitted by way of documents is correct and verifiable by the Organization.

Collection of Tender Documents:

Interested contractors are expected to collect bid documents containing detailed specifications for the jobs from the Procurement Unit of the Agency at 3^rd Floor, Room 207, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Headquarters, Abuja on payment of Non- refundable processing fee of N20,000 per Lot to NAN Account with the following details:

Submission of Tenders and Closing Date:

Interested contractors must submit three (3) copies, one original and two duplicates of Technical and Financial bids in separate envelope enclosed in a bigger envelope indicating the Lot and title of the project at the left hand corner of the envelope addressed to:

Tenders must be submitted not later than 6^th October 2014. thus the submission will close at 12.00 noon, 6^th October, 2014 while the opening of bids will follow immediately on the same date at the Agency’s Headquarters, Abuja.

1. This advert shall not be construed to be a commitment from the Agency, nor shall it entail any bidder to make any claim(s) whatsoever and seek indemnity from NAN by virtue of that bidder having responded to this advertisement,
2. NAN reserves the right to reject any or all the bid documents.
