Public Notice 

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the Proposed Ubima Field Development Project, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State By All Grace Energy Limited 

In accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2014, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment on their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces a Twenty-One (21) Working Days Public Notice for information and comments on the Draft EIA Report submitted by All Grace Energy Limited.

Project Description

The proposed project will involve the Development and Work-over of an existing Well (Ubima 01) in OML 17; Drilling of 4 new wells; Construction of 3-Phase (Oil, Gas and Water) Processing Facility; Implementation of a Diesel Topping Plant and a Gas Plant and Establishment of 10MW Modular Gas Power Plant for operational use and the excess for host community. The expected lifespan is given as 35 years.

(ii)     Headquarters of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Isiokpo, Rivers State.

(iii)    Federal Ministry of Environment, Federal Secretariat, Rivers State.

(iv)    Federal Ministry of Environment Library, Conservation (Green) Building, Plot 444 Aguiyi Ironsi Way, Maitama, Abuja-FCT.

(v)     Federal Ministry of Environment, Environment House, Central Business District, Abuja-FCT.

Duration of Display:-

Date: 1^st to 29^th June, 2015.

Time: 8:00 am – 4:00pm Daily.

All Comments Received Should Be Forwarded To The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry Of Environment On Or Before 6^th July, 2015.
