(2) Power Generation Supply for Proton Delta Sunrise Project

Proton Energy Ltd is a leading Nigerian Independent Power Plant (IPP) developer. Proton Energy is sponsoring the development of three new gas powered plants in support of the development of the Nigeria power sector and to assist in meeting the growing energy needs of the citizens of Nigeria, Proton Energy now invites bids through this RFP for the development of a 150MW +-10% IPP plant located in Sapele, Delta State, Nigeria.
(1) EPC Tender for Turnkey Engineering, Design, Supply (Procurement), Installation/ Erection, Start-up, Testing & Commissioning of Proton Delta Sunrise 150±10% MW, Natural Gas, Simple Cycle Power Plant Project. Tenderers should note that for the EPC and/or Power Generation Equipment Supply, the Project will be executed in two phases:
(I) Phase I-150 MW simple cycle
(II) Phase II – will cover an additional 350 MW and possible conversion to combined cycle (this will be treated under a separate tender)
(2) Power Generation Equipment Supply. Tender for Equipment Supply, Project Management and Technical direction to support installation/start-up, commissioning and performance testing of Proton Delta Sunrise 150±10% MW, Natural Gas, Simple Cycle Power Plant Project.
(3) RFP documents with full instructions are available from www.protonenergyafrica.com and/or at our offices at 24 Idejo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos from the RFP invitation date of Jan. 26, 2015.

(5) Closing Date of Tender and Response to Tender: March 9, 2015, 12 noon Lagos time
(6) Submission of Responses to Tender
Please submit by the closing date of Tender:
a. In hard copy:
2 original proposals (please ensure that all pages are signed by authorised officials of the Tendering company), and 2 priced copies
b. In digital form;
1 priced copy
All copies should be labelled and numbered accordingly.
(7) The Tender shall be submitted by the Tenderer in a sealed envelope marked for “Proton Delta Sunrise 150+10% MW Natural Gas Simple Cycle Power Plant Project”. EPC/Power Generation Equipment Supply as relevant to be indicated on the cover. Within the sealed envelope shall be included two separate envelopes, one identified as “Technical Proposals” and the other identified as “Commercial Proposals”, The Technical Proposals shall include Tender Exhibits A, E, F and G, The Commercial Proposals shall include all other information. The original copies of the Tender shall be addressed and submitted to:
