Invitation to Tender for Sure-P Projects

The Local Government Areas of Niger State have received allocation of funds from the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) as part of the monthly allocation from money of discontinued subsidy by the Federal Government to be re-invested to mitigate the effects of the partial removal of subsidy on petroleum products.

In a bid to ensure prudent utilization of these funds, the Chief servant of Niger State, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, CON Talban Minna, in conjunction with all the Local Government councils of the state has in line with the economic vision of the state hence appraised and selected projects of high social and community value that would socially transform and structurally support the livelihood of the rural populace in the state.

In furtherance of these objectives, interested competent contractors are invited to tender for the projects listed below:-

i.        The advertisement does not qualify any Tenderer to make any claims whatsoever, and or seek any indemnity from the Directorate by virtue of their participation in the lender.

ii.       The Local Government Tender’s Committee reserves the right to reject any, and, or all tenders at their discretion and at no cost whatsoever.

iii.      All cost incurred responding, to this advertisement shall be borne by the contractors.

iv.      Non-compliance with instructions will lead to rejection of tenders.

v.       All enquiries should be directed to the Head of Department of Works in each local Government Area.

General Requirements

Interested competent contractor wishing to provide the above service must submit the following documents for verification:-

A.      Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.

B.      Evidence of payment of Tax for the last three (3) years as and when due.

C.      Evidence of Vat registration certificate

D.      Comprehensive Company profile including registered address, functional contact email address, GSM Phone number(s), facsimile number(s).

E.      Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past

F.      Currant company’s audited statement of Account for 3 years.

F.      Evidence of registration with the Directorate.

Collection and Submission of Tender

Tender documents can be collected from the respective Local Government Councils where the projects are located while Monitoring and Evaluation will be collected at the Directorate at the cost of N20,000.

Each tot attracts a non-refundable fee of N10,000 .The sale of tenders will commence from 10:00am of October 10^th 2013 and close at 12:00pm of October 25th, 2013.

Tenders will be opened in each Local Government Council at 1:00pm of October 29th, 2013.

Completed tenders are to be sealed and addressed to the Head of Department of Works (HCC Works) in each Local Government Area.
