Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Tender for Year 2014 Capital Projects in Maiduguri, Bama, BIU and Monguno Local Government Areas
The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries Development-Borno State hereby invites tender from suitably qualified companies and firms for Pre-Qualification/Tender. Interested firms are to indicate interest as per the projects below: located in the three senatorial districts of the state.
Renovation of Maiduguri Abattoir
1. Renovation of the main Abattoir
2. Drilling 1 No borehole
3. Construction of perimeter block wall
4. Renovation of the Drainage system
5. Construction of a temporary slaughter stab
Construction of Veterinary Hospital at BAMA, Biu and Monguno each as Follows:
1. Construction of Veterinary Hospital Complex
2. Construction of Office Block
3. Construction of Staff Quarters
4. Construction of Poultry House
Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interest companies are to submit the following documents for pre-qualification/tender
– Incorporation registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
– Evidence of registration with Borno State Government and Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries Development as a contractor.
– Evidence of registration with the industrial Training Fund (ITF)
– Tax clearance certificate for the last three years
– Company VAT registration certificate
– Company profile and qualification of some key officers of the organization
– A letter of ability to perform form a reputable Bank
– Evidence of similar job executed e.g. Certificate of practical completion of projects undertaken.
NB: You are advised to come along with original copies of all documents submitted for verification
Method of Application
Interested companies are to submit pre-qualification documents, and if interested to tender, can collect tender documents on payment of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25, 000.00)non-refundable fees and Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) for registration with Ministry of Animal Resources & Fisheries Development as a contractor from the Secretary Ministerial Tender Board (Director Planning Research and Statistics).
Return of Documents
To be made to “the Secretary Ministerial Tender Board,” marked on the right hand top corner “Pre-qualification documents” or “Tender Documents” in sealed envelopes. Address to- Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Animal Resources & Fisheries Development, Borno State on or before 6th May 2014.
