Re: Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for the Year 2011-2013 Tetfund Library Intervention Projects – An Addendum.
1.0 Introduction
This advertisement is an addendum to the College’s earlier advertisement in the Nation Newspaper of Thursday, June 25 2015 and the Federal Tenders Journal of Monday, June 29 – Sunday July 12, 2015 on the above-mentioned projects in respect of:
(i) Procurement of Assorted Textbooks, Journals and reference materials.
(ii) Internet Connectivity
(iii) Procurement of Library equipment.
(iv) Procurement of 60 Nos. Laptops.
(v) Procurement of 2 Nos. Lawn mowers
(vi) Procurement of 2 Nos. Sharp photocopiers.
2.0 Pre-Qualification Criteria
Further to the advertisement under reference, interested and reputable Contractors are to note the following which must be complied with in their bids:
(i) Evidence of Company registration by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Evidence of Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2012, 2013 and 2014)
(iii) VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances.
(iv) Current Certificate of Compliance from National Pension Commission.
(v) Evidence of Compliance Certificate in line with provisions of section 6(1) (3) of the amended Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. 19 of 2011.
(vi) Company’s Audi ted Account for the last three (3) years (2012, 2013 and 2014).
(vii) Evidence of registration on the Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of the Interim Registration Report (IRR) issued by BPP in line with the provisions of Section 5(h) of the PPA, 2007.
(viii) Letter of financial reference from a reputable bank.
(ix) Verifiable list of technical and professional staff. Enclose photocopies of credentials.
(x) Verifiable list of executed similar jobs with letters of award and certificates of practical completion.
(xi) A Sworn Affidavit that all the information/documents provided is correct and verifiable.
3.0 Collection of Tender Documents
(i) Interested bidders should pay a non-refundable fee of Twenty-five thousand Naira (₦25,000.00) only with bank draft drawn from any reputable bank payable to Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, Ogun State.
(ii) Present the draft and obtain a receipt as well as Tender documents at the Bursary department of the College.
4.0 Submission Guide
Bound Technical and Financial bids in separate envelopes and clearly marked “Technical” AND “Financial”. The 2 envelopes will in turn be sealed in a bigger envelope clearly marked “Prequalification and Tender for (specify the LOT NUMBER) at the top left-hand corner of the envelope and should be hand-delivered to:

Not later than 12Noon on 1st September, 2015.
5.0 Opening of Pre-Qualification Bids
The bids documents are scheduled to be opened publicly by 12Noon on the 1st of September, 2015. Interested members of the public especially the intending Contractors/Suppliers are hereby invited to the public opening.
Please Note
(i) The College reserves the right to verify all the pre-qualification documents submitted.
(ii) That participation in the bid does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or given any job.
(iii) That this advertisement for invitation to pre-qualification shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the College, nor shall it entitle any Contractor/Supplier to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from Tai Solarin College of Education.
(iv) Tai Solarin College of Education reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the College.
(v) That only bidders with satisfactory Technical Bids will have their Financial Bids considered.
(vi) Any bid submitted after the Closing date and time shall not be considered.
