Advertisement of Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Provision of Water Supply System for Gwadangaji Quarters and Gwadangaji Village of Birnin Kebbi Local Government and Provision of Solar Powered Water Supply System at Garun Ango, Chibee Babba and Kuri Marina of Arewa Local Government Area

(1A) Provision of water supply system for Gwadangaji Quarters and Gwadangaji village of Brinin Kebbi
(1B) Provision of solar powered water supply system at Garun Ango, Chibee Babba and Kuri Marina of Arewa local government area
(2) The scope of works for the two (2) project shall includes the following:
Project No one 1A
(i) 250 cubic Meters elevated tank
(ii) 2No complete boreholes 10mm diameter
(iii) 100KVA generator set complete
(iv) 4.5 kilometer pipe networks
(v) Generator house, fencing work and repairs of all existing mains
Project No two (2) 1B
(i) Drilling of a complete 150mm dia borehole with SQ type solar powered pump
(ii) Construction of a complete 22.5m3 welded tank on 6m tower
(iii) Supply and installation of solar modules
(iv) Control room and fencing works
(v) Provision of water points and commissioning apron.
(3) Qualification of Firms Responding to the RFQ
Water engineering firms, representative of Manufacturer’s of water materials etc. In presenting quotation must show clear evidence of:
(a) Payment of corporate taxes, PAYE, VAT etc.
(b) Kebbi State Tenders board registration certificate
(c) Letters of confirmation by applicant’s bankers on having financial capacity to execute the contract.
(d) Certificate of incorporation for companies/consulting firms
(e) Memorandum and articles of association
(f) Registration with professional/regulatory bodies as would be applicable.
(g) List of company/consulting firms machineries, equipments and instruments
(h) List of previous works/services executed and evidence of performance.
(i) List of companies/consulting firms personnel including qualification and year of experience in the field
(j) Third party insurance.
(4) Deadline for Submission of Quotation
Water engineering firms, representatives of manufacturers of water materials etc are to submit their quotations on or before 14th April, 2015.
The Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development Kebbi State reserves the right to reject any quotation that does not meet its requirements.
