Request for Expression of Interest for Provision of Real Estate Consultancy Services

 Introduction

Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc, KEDCO, a major stakeholder in the management and distribution of power in the Northwest Zone of Nigeria intends to engage the services of reputable and experienced firm of estate Surveyors and Valuers to carry out professional services enumerated below within the North West geopolitical zone.

Scope of Required Services

(A)    Asset Verification and Valuation

(B)     Management of Commercial and Residential Properties

Eligibility Criteria

(a)     Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC)

(b)     Evidence of Registration with Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON)

(c)      Proven track record of not less than fifteen (15) years in Real Estate business with evidence of not less than five (5) major relevant jobs in the last five (5) years

(d)     Evidence of registration with industrial Training Fund (ITF).

(e)      Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council on Nigeria (FRCN)

(f)      Evidence of registration with National Pension Commission

(g)     Evidence of Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration and Remittance in the last three (3) years

(h)     Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years

(i)      Bank Reference affirming the firm’s financial capability to execute the job

(j)      Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years duly authenticated by registered Auditors.

(k)    Payment of N25,000 non-refundable fee with crossed Bank Draft payable to Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc.

Submission

Interested firms should submit three (3) copies of Expression of interest (EOI) packaged in sealed envelopes clearly marked

“Expression of Interest as a Consultant for Provision of Real Estate Services” and addressed to Administration Department Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc No, 1 Niger Street/Post Office Road, P.M.B 3089, Kano-Nigeria.

The EOI must be submitted on or before 9^th March 2015. Please note that only prequalified firm(s) will be contacted for further details on the assignment; and Management’s decision shall be final.
