Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for Year 2013 Tetfund Intervention in Library Development
The Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun, Ogun State invites competent/ qualified contractors to submit Technical and Financial Bids for the under-listed year 2013 I b I Fund intervention projects in Library Development.
2.0 Projects to be Executed
(a) Procurement of Assorted Textbooks, Reference Sources
(b) Procurement of e-databases books and journals
(c) Procurement of Library Automation Software and equipment
(d) Virtual Library Development (e-resource equipment, internet facilities, server etc).
(e) Procurement of Library Furniture (Tables, Shelves).
3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Prospective Contractors are required to submit the following documents for pre-qualification:
(a) Evidence of Incorporation or Business Name Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(b) Evidence of Registration with the University for year 2014.
(c) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) Years
(d) Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking Support.
(e) Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years.
(f) Verifiable evidence Technical/Key Personnel Qualifications and Experiences
(g) Refundable Bid Security of 2.6% of Bid sum in Bank Certified Cheque must accompany Bid documents
(h) Verifiable list of similar and other jobs successfully executed with their locations, together with letters of awards and Certification of Job Completion.
(i) Verifiable Evidence of Equipment and Technology Capacity with Evidence of purchase where applicable
(j) Evidence of Remittance of Pension Contribution of Employees of PENCOM in line with Section 8(d) of Procurement Act.
(k) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance.
(l) Evidence of compliance with Section 6(ii) of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amended Act 2011.
4.0 Tender Procedure
Interested tenderers are required to pay the sum of Twenty five thousand Naira (N25,000:00) to the University Bursary and collect the Bills of Quantities and other tender documents upon the presentation of the evidence of payment from the Registrar’s Office.
5.0 Submission Guide
Both the Technical and Financial documents should be neatly bound and each sealed in a separate envelope marked at the top and labelled Technical or Financial Bid respectively, and both packed in bigger envelope, with the contact telephone number at the back.

Opening of Technical and Financial Bids
All bids must be delivered to the above address not later than 19th November 2014 by 12.00 noon. Electronic bidding “shall not” be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the University Council Chambers at a date to be duly communicated to all bidders. Please note that only bidders with satisfactory Technical Bids will have their Financial Bids considered.
