Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Tender

A. Preamble

In compliance with procurement Act 2007 as (amended), the Management of National Metallurgical Development Centre, Jos a parastatal of the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in line with 2014 appropriation wishes to invite interested, reputable and competent suppliers to submit application for pre-qualification and subsequent bidding for the supply of the following items.

1. B. General Requirements

The tenderer shall submit with it’s tender the following additional documents bound together.

1. Evidence of incorporation Registration with CAC
2. Evidence of fax clearance certificate for the last three years
3. Updated value added Tax Registration Certificate (VAT) and evidence of VAT remittance in t three years (2011-2013).
4. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project Bank reference and a letter of credit for the execution of the contract if eventually won.
5. Evidence of Registration with PENCOM and evidence of pension Fund contribution.
6. Evidence of compliance with provision of Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
7. List of similar verifiable and successfully executed projects or ‘ongoing’ by the Company with letter of award and certificates of completion should be attached.
8. Any other document that may compliment the tender.

C.      Collection of Tender Documents

All interested bidders can obtain Tender documents at the procurement unit of the Centre upon payment of non-refundable Tender processing fee of N30,000.00 only.

D.      Submission of Pre-qualification and Tender Document

Three (3) sets of prequalification documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with reference number of the supply at the left hand Corner of the envelop. Responses are to reach the address below and deposited in the tender box at the conference Hall of the Centre not later than 23^rd September 2014.

Opening of Pre-qualification Packages:

The pre-qualification submissions will be opened at 2.00 p.m. on 23^rd September 2014 at the Board room of National Metallurgical Development Centre, Jos in the presence of respondents to the pre-qualification exercise who chose to attend.
