The National Bureau of Statistics in collaboration with the CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA (CBN) intends to upgrade its ICT infrastructure by rebuilding ICT devices   for Consumer   Prices   Index   (CPI) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Computational   framework to ensure effective and efficient means of transmitting field data.   The   Bureau   hereby   wishes   to   invite   qualified, interested and eligible vendors, suppliers, contractors to submit bid documents for the procurement of items in the following table;

Qualification Criteria and Requirements

In order to be considered, interested companies signifying interest by responding to this advertisement shall submit their bid documents accompanied with the following.;

1. Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Provide detailed Company Profile
3. Provide company audited account for the last three (3)years
4. Copy of current Tax Clearance Certificates (20 JO-20 12) verifiable from the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS)
5. Evidence   of  VAT   Registration   and  past  VAT Remittances
6. Evidence of 2-3 similar jobs previously executed including Letter of Award, Certificate of job Completion, and Payments
7. Any   other   documents   and   professional qualification/affiliation that will further enhance the eligibility of the company for the bid.
8. Certificate of compliance issued by the National Pens on Commission as evidence of fulfilling employer’s obligation to employees with respect to pension.
9. Provision of bid security for bids at 2% of all bids price from a reputable bank.

Collection of Bid Documents

A Complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ten thousand naira only (N10, 000.00). The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft made payable to National Bureau of Statistics. The bidding document should be collected by hand at the address stated below:

Submission of Tender Documents

All bidding documents must be submitted directly by the company’s representatives or agents. The bid documents should be submitted in two (2) copies including one 1 Original in two (2) separate sealed envelopes. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late submission of bid documents will be rejected.

All bid documents must be submitted on or before 12 noon, 21^st March, 2014 at the address below;

Opening of Tender Documents

The bid documents will be opened publicly at the Conference Hall Wing A, first floor, National Bureau of Statistics, Headquarters Abuja at 12.01 P.M on the 21^st March, 20l4.

Please Note

1.        I.            Note that all bidders must bid for all the three (3) items
2.     II.            With respect to procurement of Servers and licenses, vendor, suppliers and contractors must be familiar with consumer prices index (CP1) and gross domestic product (GDP) Computation process “and installation of  appropriate   software  applications,   sufficient knowledge of Virtual Private Network (VPN). Internet Bandwidth Subscription and unified communication system, and must be certified Microsoft or any other ICT solution provider.
3.  III.            Any contravention of the conditions stated could lead to disqualification of bid documents.
4. Please adhere strictly to closing date of bids.
