Kogi State University, Anyigba is desirous of executing projects under the above stated intervention, Towards achieving this purpose, interested reputable contactors are hereby invited for Pre-qualification and Tender for the projects.

Pre-Qualification Requirements
Prospective Bidders are required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:-
a) Valid evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
b) Evidence of current registration as a contractor in appropriate category with Kogi State University, Anyigba;
c) Evidence of registration with PENCOM;
d) Evidence of Tax Identification Number (TIN) from Federal Inland Revenue Service;
e) Evidence of payment of Education Tax for Limited or Public Liability Companies;
f) Company Tax clearance certificate for 3 years (2010, 2011 & 2012);
g) Comprehensive Company Profile, including details such as the qualifications and experiences of the Management, Technical and Professional staff;
h) Evidence of adequate relevant equipment and infrastructure to handle the project;
i) Evidence of execution of similar projects stating clearly the clients, locations, contract sums of such projects, including copies of letters of award and practical completion certificates in the last 5years;
j) Evidence of financial capability to execute the projects from a Bank;
k) Company Audited accounts for 3 years (2010, 2011 & 2012);
l) Evidence of VAT registration and remittances; and
m) Companies applying to be pre-qualified should accompany their submissions with a disclosure as to whether any officer of Kogi State University, Anyigba is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Company.
Submission of Pre Qualification Documents
The Pre-qualification documents listed above should be neatly bound and enclosed in an envelope, marked “Pre-qualification documents for Library and must be submitted to the Registrar latest by 12noon on Wednesday 20th November, 2013.
Submission of Tender Documents
The Tender documents should be neatly bound and enclosed in an envelope, marked “Tender documents for Library and must be submitted to the Registrar latest by 12noon on Wednesday 20th November, 2013.
Opening of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents
Pre-qualification / Tender documents shall be opened at 2.00pm on Wednesday, 20th November, 2013 in the Council Chamber of the University. Bidders are invited to witness the opening of Pre-qualification documents.
Tender documents would be available for collection from the Office of the Director of Works from 9; 00am to 4; 00pm during working hours.
Interested bidders are to note that only Tenders from Pre-qualified bidders would be considered.
