Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for 2014 1st – 4th QTR UBE Projects/Procurement
In compliance with the Federal Government guideline on public procurement and award of contracts, the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Awka, invites sealed pre-qualification and tender documents from competent bidding contractors/consultants and suppliers for 2014 1st – 4th Qtr projects/procurement.
Pre-qualification shall be conducted through National Competitive Bidding in accordance with bidding process as specified in the 2007 Public Procurement Act.
Scope of Work
(i) Construction of New classroom blocks
(ii) Renovation/Rehabilitation of Dilapidated classroom blocks
(iii) Supply of furniture for Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in the State

Eligibility Requirements for Pre-Qualification and Tender
Prospective Bidders should provide as part of their submission or application the following key requirements:
(i) Evidence of company’s registration with ASUBEB as a contractor.
(ii) Photocopies of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
(iii) Photocopies of Tax Clearance Certificate for 2012, 2013 and 2014.
(iv) Evidence of VAT registration certificate.
(v) Company profile with details of key staff and equipment to be deployed for the proposed work
(vi) Evidence of previous similar assignments with relevant evidence of successful completion.
(vii) Evidence of compliance with TTF provisions
(viii) Evidence of Compliance with Pencom provisions
(ix) Bank reference letter containing financial status of the company.
Collection of Tender Documents
Interested bidders shall on presentation of evidence of payment of N50,000 non-refundable fee collect the tender document from the office of the undersigned.
Submission of Documents
Completed pre-qualification and tender document should be returned in sealed envelopes marked with the project code bided for and addressed to:

Submissions should be made at the Procurement/Due Process Unit, PRS Department at the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, Awka, 9am – 4pm Mondays – Fridays.
All submissions must be received at the above mentioned address on or before 20th April 2015.
