Invitation to Tender for the Proposed Modern Motor Park, Felele, Kogi State
In furtherance of the recently adopted State-wide city structure plan, Urban Renewal Initiatives and Physical Transformation Programmes, the Kogi State Government has conceptualised the development of a modern motor park at Felele District along the Abuja-Lokoja dual carriage way in Lokoja, the State capital. The State also has a dedicated fund for the project having successfully accessed a bond facility for this purpose through the capital market window.
The Kogi State Government is, therefore, pleased to invite tenders from qualified and experienced professionals for the development of the Modern Motor Park as designed.
The design has the following features:
a. Administrative Building.
b. Cash Office/ATM.
c. Church.
d. Mosque.
e. Clinic.
f. Fuel Station.
g. Hotel.
h. Police Post.
i. Recreation Area
j. Recreation Block
k. Restaurant
l. Ticketing/Cargo
m. Arrival/Departure/Delivery areas
n. Shops
o. Toilet Facilities
p. Workshops.
General Requirements:
Interested and competent contractors wishing to participate in this tender must submit the following documents for verification:
1) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
2) List of Technical/key personnel of the Company with their qualifications.
3) List of equipments of the company and their locations.
4) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as and when due.
5) Comprehensive company profile including registered address, functional contact e-mail address, GSM phone number(s), facsimile number(s).
6) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past 3 years.
7) Reference letter from a bank stating financial ability to carry out such service(s)
8) Current company’s audited statement of account.
9) Evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fees.
10) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittances
11) Evidence of payment of training contribution to ITF (Industrial Training Fund).
12) Evidence of registration with Kogi State Government.

Tender documents will be available for collection as from Tuesday, April 1st

Tender Documents attract a non-refundable fee of N500, 000.00
Closing Date o Submission:
Closing date for the submission of Technical and Financial Bids shall be Monday, April 21, 2014, while the opening of submissions shall be on the same date at 1.00pm in the Conference Hall of the office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State.
Technical and Financial Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes and packaged in one envelope. The top right corner of the outer envelope should be marked Tender for Modern Motor Park1, and should be addressed to:

Only qualified contractors shall be contacted after the close of submissions and evaluation of bids.
